Building from the ashes.

Our hearts go out to Geng and Nut, who have tragically lost everything in a devastating house fire. 

They did not have much to begin with, and now they face the enormous challenge of rebuilding not only their home, but also replacing all of their furniture, clothing, household items, and treasured personal belongings.

In response, the local council, village leaders, and HANDS are working together to coordinate support and gather the materials, equipment, and labour needed to help them get back on their feet.

 We are incredibly grateful to the neighbours and villagers who have already stepped forward, volunteering their time and assistance whenever they can. 

We remain hopeful that, with the continued generosity and support of the community, Geng and Nut will soon be able to move into their rebuilt home and begin the next chapter of their lives. Together, we can help this family rebuild.
