A new home for Ahtit.
Ahtit is a member of the local community who, several years ago, suffered a life-changing accident that left him with brain damage. In the aftermath, relatives entrusted with his care persuaded him to sign over the small plot of land he had inherited from his parents. They later sold it—along with his home—leaving him homeless.
The injustice of his situation deeply affected the community. In response, local residents joined forces with the HANDS team to build Ahtit a new, modest home close to the centre, ensuring he remains supported and connected. He is profoundly grateful for his new home and for the kindness shown by the HANDS team and his neighbours, whose compassion and solidarity have made this possible.
