For most parents the day that your child starts school is a very exciting day! It’s your hope and expectation that your child will enjoy learning and will do well. You dream that one day they will graduate from college or university and go on to have a really good career. We work with children and families who could never dream like that. Many speak a different language than the one used in the classroom. Many can’t get to school because they live too far away. Many could never go on to higher education because of their poverty and because they don’t have the citizenship papers they would need.

We provide support for children and families like this. Our sponsorship programme provides safe accommodation near local schools allowing children benefit from an education that would otherwise be beyond their reach. For others we provide transportation so that they can go to and from school each day. We also work alongside teachers in local schools to broaden the educational experience of the children.
