As a faith based organisation it is vital for us to know that the work we are doing and the decisions we make are after God’s heart. And in the outworking of everything we are involved in, we meet challenges and obstacles that need answers and provision that come as God answers prayer.
Everything we do is intended to be an investment in the lives of individuals and communities. We work with those whom we feel will truly benefit from the opportunities and help that comes with our involvement. Our hope and expectation is that they in turn will become a help to those in need. We build that hope into our relationships with people and into our projects and programmes. We can do that because of the generous and faithful support of all our friends and partners who see that giving financial, whether it be occasional gifts or regular monthly donations is one of the most important ingredients in the work of seeing lives and communities transformed by God’s love. Please contact us if you would like to partner with us in this way.
Over the years our work has benefited greatly by visiting short term teams. They have worked alongside our local staff in schools and villages and in specific aid and development projects. They come from churches and groups in the U.K. and other counties. We have found that such trips are life changing events not only for the people we work with but also for members of the teams that serve them! If you would like to bring a team from your church or group we would love to discuss the options and possibilities with you.
Fund raising events can come in all shapes and sizes! They can be organised by individuals, such as a sponsored triathlon or sponsored swim. Or they can be organised by groups who run coffee mornings or cheese and wine evenings. Of course there are lots of creative people with great ideas and we would love to hear from you if you would like to volunteer in this way. We will be very pleased to provide you with advice and materials to support your effort. So please get in touch with us.
